My passion is to draw and create from real life. Specializing in fine art drawings, wooden art and high quality design and crafts. Drawing is my first passion and my other works are designs either taken from or inspired by my original fine art.
Whether my original drawings are taken from a live model, a memory from a photograph or something happening in front of you at this time, my wish is to capture it as a moment to treasure.
I have been honored through the years of taking some wonderful life journeys, including a trip to Cuba at the exact time of the announcement to lift the embargo! I was leaving a spiritual festival on the way to a local restaurant when our Cuban guide was on the phone in tears... our reception at the restaurant was amazing, greeted as friends, we were led to a tiny TV where we listened to the American President whilst surrounded by our new Cuban friends.... Can you imagine the photographs and the memories I have of this time and many others...
And what about your memories, do you have something that you would like captured as a keepsake? This is something I can do, ensuring you will have art unique to you that will be a conversation piece and never anything you will see on someone else's wall.
Of course I also have a gallery of what I consider wonderful pieces that I am happy to share. So please explore my creations and consider purchasing on-line through our store or let me create something specifically for you. Our commissions page shows you some of what has been done, most commonly a portrait of a person or pet or a drawn recreation of a memory from a photograph. But I am open to ideas of any unique artwork you might like to see come to life, specifically for yourself or a gift for someone special.
I have a working studio space at Pink Dog Creative within Asheville's River Arts district, so if you are local or are visiting the area please come by and and say hello and take a look at my current work and pieces available for purchase.
The best place to purchase my original art online is right here.
The young lady on this page was traveling with her musician mother from festival to festival. The original is 20" x 30" done in water soluble graphite.
